DCRA now allows you to see the status of your permit application and read comments from the technical staff reviewing your plans.

To view the status and comments, you must have a DC.Gov username and password and specific information about the job. Please note: You may be able to view comments about your project online, but you won't be able to pick up your plans until all required disciplines have reviewed them.

Building Permit Application Tracking Overview

1. Enter your permit application tracking number or the property address and select Continue.
2. Review the status of your application.
3. To get more information, select from the links in the left column of the project status table.
4. Enter your DC.Gov username and password. (If you don't have a username and password, please register.)
5. Select the Login link.
6. Enter the application date and project cost.
7. Review comments about your project from the plan review team.
